About John Solaegui

I’m the real estate agent that could knock the socks off of Donald Trump!

Utilizing building blocks, tinker toys and Lego’s, I built houses, mansions and castles for my family and friends. I collected house plans while my friends collected baseball cards! While earning my MBA at UC Berkeley, I took every real estate course offered. The experience that most defined my passion for “houses” was the opportunity to transform a Pacific Heights “haunted” house into a stunning San Francisco Victorian. The transformation, marketing and sale of that house combined my talents and propelled me from a CPA and Financial Planning career into Real Estate.

I’ve welcomed Bankers, CEO’s, Doctors, Families, Professionals, Retirees, Students, and Tech Moguls to their best front doors since 2003.
It doesn’t stop there . . .

Real Estate’s effect on the city of San Francisco is important to me. Through my involvement in the San Francisco Association of Realtors (SFAR), I found the opportunity I wanted to collaborate with others to innovate and implement strategies to improve the quality of life in “The City” so it will continue to be competitive and relevant.

Between 2007and 2008 I Co-Chaired the Governmental Relations Committee. I interviewed candidates for city and state elected positions, which was an enlightening, engaging and empowering experience.

In 2009 I campaigned for and was elected to the SFAR Board of Directors. I serve as SFAR’s CFO. During my tenure I’ve enjoyed being involved in the renovation of SFAR’s offices at 300 Grove Street (at Franklin). The interior space is better organized and people continually applaud its décor. The exterior is streamlined and communicates SFAR’s mission as a vibrant force in the community.

My building blocks, tinker toys, Lego and house plan experiences continue to inform my San Francisco conscience as a real estate agent with a need to sell homes to clients in an environment that will make them proud.
