Maitri has traveled to and lived in a lot of countries and still loves to explore the world when he’s on vacation. He served in the army during the first Gulf War and then went on to DePaul University where he got his degree in Political Science and International Relations and then returned to the East Coast to be close to his family and work as a mortgage broker.
Maitri’s first visit to San Francisco was in 2005 for work and he instantly fell in love with the city. Just a few months later he decided to sell his house in Washington, D.C. and make San Francisco his new home. The Inner Sunset is Maitri’s stomping ground, with close proximity to great ethnic restaurants where he loves to eat and to Golden Gate Park, where he takes his two dogs to play.
Naturally a linguist, Maitri loves brushing up on his skills, and he welcomes any chance to speak Thai, Spanish, French or German.
Taking advantage of all the city has to offer is a core value for Maitri. You can find him exploring a public library, attending a yoga class or taking Salsa dance lessons in his free time. His friends call him the “mayor” because he knows so many people and inevitably runs into them when he’s out and about. He loves networking and sharing experiences with others. With his outgoing personality, you can be confident he already has a relationship with the agent on the other side. Maitri’s most happy when he’s with friends and family, trying new food, dancing or just enjoying each other’s company.
Working with Maitri doesn’t just mean you get an experienced and connected agent who actively listens. It means you’re making a new friend.
